Isolation Mini-Workout 6 - EMOM!


Todays workout is a simple one - to explain that is! Completing it might be a little trickier. You will need a watch or stopwatch or countdown timer for this one. If you have a timer, set it to go off every minute, and get ready....


The Workout


So the plan is that every time your timer BEEPS, you complete the following exercises, back to back and without a rest in between. You rest comes after you finish the last exercise and before the timer alarm goes off again.


The Exercises


1. Squat

2. Lunge

3. Squat jump

4. Lunge jump

5. Burpee


Depending on your fitness level, complete either 4 or 8 of each exercise, then quickly move on to the next (for the lunges, do either 2 or 4 on each leg).


By now, you should all know what these exercises are, with the possible exception to the Lunge Jump, so have a look at the picture below for clarity first. Any concerns about doing the jump, just remove this and swap your legs over with a step instead.



That’s it! See how many rounds you can complete before the timer goes off.

***EXTRA DIFFICULTY***


If you’re finding the reps easy and have lots of rest, try increasing each exercise by 1 rep every time your timer alarm beeps. Eventually you will either run out of time or energy!
